52 Days Of Prayer

As many have said and noticed, God has led us to this moment. I come before you asking you to join me in praying everyday for 52 days up to and through our revival April 8-10. As I look back on the many revivals God has swept through the world, prayer was always a vital part.

People have pleaded with God for souls to be saved.

People have begged God’s forgiveness because of conviction of sin.

People have sought after the will God with such desperation that their knees were sore.

People have meditated on Scripture so much that the way they spoke changed.

Let’s be people willing to be desperate and plead with God for the outpouring of His Holy Ghost in our church and community.

Let’s be people willing to stand in the gap, confess our sin, and approach the throne of grace with confidence through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

D.L. Moody once said, “We believe firmly that if any man…. Has been cleansed by the blood, redeemed by the blood, and been sealed by the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost dwells in him. And a thought I want to call your attention to is this, that God has got a good many children who have just barely got life, but not power for service. You might say safely, I think, without exaggeration that nineteen out of every twenty of professed Christians are of no earthly account so far as building up Christ’s kingdom, but on the contrary are standing right in the way, and the reason is because they have settled down and have not sought the power.”

Revival is not just for the lost to believe in Jesus; it is also for those asleep at the believer’s wheel to wake up and seek the power of God so they can be empowered to do what God is calling them to do. I have spent the last nine years of my life sacrificially giving myself to God, my family, and the ministry. I have been in places of spiritual desolation and places of spiritual renewal.

I believe God is leading BBC into a season of revival, renewal, and growth.

Conviction of sin before and during revival.
Specifically pray for God to pour out His Spirit in a fashion even greater than He did in America in 1858 and Wales in 1904.
Pastor Steve to be engulfed by the Holy Ghost as he prepares and preaches the Word of God.
For hearts to be receptive to the Gospel, decisions to believe in Christ, and obedience to God sending on mission to be made.
A spiritual hunger in your life and those who come.
